About this Product
This is a truly one of a kind pendant. I hand carved this out of a block of pipestone that I received from a Native American friend. He told me to make something beautiful, so I did. Pipestone is a very sacred stone that is mined not too far from where I live in Minnesota. I am very grateful and thankful to be able to work with this stone. The stone is finished with traditional beeswax to give it the dark red color. I used copper wire to accent the redness of the stone. The stone has round inclusions that break up the solid color of the stone. Native legend has it that each little circle is where a sacred spirit has touched. If that is the case, then this necklace is truly blessed.
